It’s sort of sad to scrap this because this section of Hollywood Studios is no longer there. But when we went in 2008, the kids got to play in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area. It was super cool and apparently I managed to snap a couple pictures while we were in there (although none with the kids actually in it?!?).
So when I was looking for inspiration for this layout, I found the perfect sketch on this blog and combined it with the This or That challenge here which was to use a chipboard frame or a polaroid frame. I chose a chipboard frame and I totally in love with using these frames now!
So here is the sketch I used:
And here is the layout I came up with…
I had a great time using up some old stash on this one!

There was a challenge at A Cherry On Top to make a creative way to keep our memorabilia. As a true scrapper (cough…cough…hoarder), I found that I had TONS of stuff that I wanted to keep. So I used a couple of random pictures for the front and used this sketch from The Memory Nest:
Then, I added the folder we were given at Disney as the backing to keep all my maps, tickets, etc. from the trip. *Note: On the front, the castle and WDW pocket were the folder that we were given to keep our room key in. I cut it apart and fussy cut the castle. I slid the picture in because it was already a fun pocket!

I am nearly finished with my 2008 Disney album and I thought these pictures were especially fun. Little did I think there would be live animals under the Tree of Life…but apparently there are!
I used this sketch from Let’s Get Sketchy:
I don’t usually use a lot of pink in my scrapbooks, but I really enjoyed going all out with this one! Thanks for stopping by!!
2008 was The Year of a Million Dreams at Disney. We went that year and actually was awarded one of the dreams…line jumping on all the major rides while we were in Epcot. Being the scrapper I am, I saved all the information and our passes from that year and put it on a layout using this sketch from Sketches in Thyme:
Here is what I came up with:
Well, if you have been following along (and I highly suggest you do, because as the year goes on, my blog will get more and more interesting and there might be a giveaway or two…) you know that I have been trying to finish my 2008 Disney album. I am here to tell you, I am nearly finished!!!!
So here is probably what will be the 2nd page of my album (the arrival). This was our first time on Disney’s Magical Express and it was such a cool way to begin the trip! Disney really does have the total package really nailed!
I saw this sketch on Sketch N Scrap and it fit my pictures perfectly!! I even dug into my EK Success Disney paper and used some of that up. I think Disney theme paper is sometimes hard to use, so I was glad to finally do it!
So here’s the sketch:
And here was my take:
I was also able to use this layout for the What’s on TV and 3 in a Row Challenge at A Cherry on Top!
Thanks again for stopping by! Until next time (who thinks it will be another Disney layout??) 🙂
Well, I can honestly say I am but a few short layouts away from finishing my 2008 Disney Album!! This sketch from Sketch N Scrap really helped get the mojo flowing!!
I had a couple of pictures from Magic Kingdom that didn’t really go with any of my other pictures and this sketch worked perfectly!! So here is what I created:
Thank you for stopping by my blog!! Until next time!!
