So if you want to motivate my son to do well in school…promise him DONUTS!
As seen here, using this sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap, Logan enjoyed getting his reward for making the honor roll. Still getting caught up on his school scrapbook, but I think I am making progress!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
What can I say? My son LOVES to be pampered! I took him to the salon for him to get a “big boy” haircut with an actual style to it. Needless to say…he loved it…the whole experience! So when I saw the May Jumpstart Sketch at The Scraproom
I knew I needed to give it a try. Here is my take on the sketch…
To give myself and extra “push” I used the recipe challenge at Paper Girls Challenge Blog.
I really enjoyed searching for the extra elements to add to my layout. It also forced me to get out my stamp and inks. You can’t see it very well, but I sprayed brown ink on the background paper then used black in to stamp my designs.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Until next time…
Yeah…well…so my son is getting ready to finish the NINTH Grade in a few days…but hey…I’m trying to get caught up! 🙂
I’m not usually a “1 picture” scrapper, but school pictures are sort of meant to stand alone, aren’t they? When I saw this sketch at Sketches In Thyme, It sort of called for this picture. Again, I am digging DEEP into my stash for this one and it feels GREAT!!
Here is the sketch…
And here is my take on it… I seriously have NO idea who makes the background paper I used. The name wasn’t even on the back. Any thoughts??
Thanks again for stopping by!!
Hello friends! Today I am sharing a layout of my son…I am slowly getting caught up on his pictures! I used the Tic Tac Toe Challenge at Scrap Our Stash:
I used the bottom line…3+ patterned papers, tickets and vellum! Let me tell you…I really dug into my stash for this one! Some of these baseball stickers are OLD!! It felt awesome to dig deep!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
Hello! I thought I would change things up a bit and bring you a layout of my son. I have been trying to scrap 2017 as it happens and well…let’s just say this is from JANUARY! Ha! Well, I’m trying anyway! 🙂
This layout is based on sketch 278 at Sketches in Thyme.
And here is my take…
Logan LOVES these breaded tenderloins…as you can see from his clean plate!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hey all! It’s been a while but I am so glad to be less busy so I can get back to scrapping! We are planning a 9 day trip to Disney for my 25th wedding anniversary so I figured I’d better try to get my past albums done before we go! (We’ll see how that goes!)
So at Sketch N Scrap, I found a wonderful sketch…
But we all know I am such the double-page scrapper…mostly because I take too many pictures and can’t part with any of them. So I used the sketch for BOTH sides of my layout, but flipped it to its mirror-image for the right side. And here is what I came up with…
I have to admit I was pretty pleased with how this came out…and I even designed the Kermit die cut myself using my Pazzles.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Stay tuned for more posts in the future as I feel my scrappy mojo coming back!!
